Wedding Photography in London

With wedding season picking up speed I thought I’s share a few wedding photographs of this beautiful couple taken around London last week. We were so lucky that the rain stayed away as we walked our socks off to get around all the beautiful landmarks, it was worth it thought I think!

Let them be little

Time, I’ve noticed, speeds up once your children are born, and the cute little baby rolls and stubby little legs soon turn into toned tummies and the long gangly legs of your very own little school boy. The big slobbery kisses of a toddler turn into, ‘well, OK, but I’m just giving you one kiss mummy’ But at the big old age of 4 my little one is grown up too much yet, he still plays makes space ships, giggles at funny faces and loves to make believe.

My photographic project with him this year to to embrace that imagination, to celebrate make believe and let him be little. Look out for more posts with photos straight from his imagination interpreted through my camera and posted on the blog!

Beautiful Newborn Baby Photography in Surrey

I was incredibly lucky today to meet this beautiful little lady. This gorgeous baby girl was a star model throughout her shoot,  her parents had gone to such care to make sure everything was perfect for our session today and it totally paid off, everything went so smoothly and we made so many lovely photos. Cake Smash Photography in Surrey

Being a mum there is nothing I like better to see than kids really enjoying themselves and thats where first birthday cake smashes come in 🙂

The chances of your one year old sitting nicely and posing on a backdrop are minimal, life is far too exciting and there is so much exploring to be done! However, pop a yummy birthday cake in front of them and encourage them to explore all that sticky icing and you have one happy birthday girl or boy.

I wanted to share a few of my favourites from my last cake smash as this handsome young man really knew how to enjoy is cake, plus we had the added fun of giving him a proper old fashion bath after all the messy chaos!

The Owls and the Eagle

Every so often I like to photograph something a little different 🙂 It helps me to grow as a photographer as well as improving my skills and keeping me creative. I’m a big believer in stepping outside your comfort zone every now and again. As a result I had the most wonderful morning photographing these gorgeous birds.

Photographically it was so different from anything I usually do but that just it made it a really lovely challenge for me. Hope you like them?

Maternity Photography in Surrey

I love maternity photography sessions and Chloe was no exception, I love how mums literally glow and look so peaceful and serene.

It’s such a privilege to capture such a special time in someones life and to create a first memory of the little person growing inside. Hopefully looking back these lovely images will serve as a reminder of not only how beautiful she looked but of the first kicks,  hiccups and how amazing motherhood is, a girl which for us girls starts well before we hear that wonderful first cry.

School Photography in Surrey

When his mummy let me know she wasn’t happy with Jack’s photos from his school and wanted some taken by me I knew we were going to have some fun, this is the 4th time I’ve photographed Jack now and he is alway so good in front of the camera.

Having your own private shoot gives your child’s personality the chance to shine through, I love how you can see Jack’s cheeky, sweet child side coming over as well as a glimpse into the future and the man he’s turning into in these photos 🙂

Beautiful Baby Photography in Surrey

I’ve been admittedly terrible at blogging the over the past month, but as this gorgeous little man’s parents don’t have Facebook I couldn’t have them going without a sneak peek from todays shoot 🙂

I first met Jasper before Christmas at one of my pop up studios so was really lovely to see how much he’s grown and to see his beautiful smile and personality shining through now.

I can’t wait to see him and his family again in the spring for his next session. One of the greatest pleasures of my job is seeing these little grow from shoot to shoot.

Photography Mini Sessions in Surrey

Beautiful sunny day at the end of October, and lots of smiley children came to say hi at my photography mini session day in October. This photography session is always very busy as it’s the last before Christmas and a chance to get some gorgeous family photos in the stunning autumn leaves (which make ideal Christmas presents for grandparents and spouses alike)

So lucky to be doing my 3rd photo-shoot for this beautiful family 🙂 Big brother really did love the new arrival which was so refreshing to see. I really love seeing family grow up, one of the best parts of my job!
